Self Help Groups
You are not alone with IBS. Millions of people in the UK suffer from IBS and they all struggle to find the best way to manage their symptoms. Talking helps. Working with others helps.
Set up your own self help group.
Why not advertise in your doctor's surgery and get a group together. Hold regular meetings. Work through the chapters on our Self Management Plan. Do the exercises together. Invite experts on topics you need to know about. Hold fundraising events.
Join the IBS Network and contact us for advice, access to the self management plan and a starter pack of resources. Help us to help you.
Do you suffer from incontinence?
Members of The IBS Network are also welcome to attend the local groups run by Incontact, for more details see:

20 to 30% of people with IBS also have fibromyalgia. To find out more about this condition and fibromyalgia groups in South Wales, please
